2025 Davao Region Minimum Wage Adjustments: Official Guide
Minimum wage earners in the Davao Region (Region XI) have received a significant pay increase following the approval of Wage Order No. RB XI-23. Effective March 7, 2025, the new rates aim to help workers manage the rising costs of living while maintaining economic stability in the region.
New Minimum Wage Rates in Region XI
The latest adjustment provides a daily wage increase of P29 for workers in the private sector. The updated rates are categorized as follows:
Non-Agriculture Sector: The daily minimum wage is now P510.00 (up from P481.00).
Agriculture Sector: The daily minimum wage is now P505.00 (up from P476.00).
These rates apply across all provinces in the Davao Region, including Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao Oriental, Davao de Oro, and Davao Occidental, as well as the City of Davao.
Domestic Workers (Kasambahay) Rates
The salaries for domestic workers were previously adjusted under Wage Order No. RBXI-DW-03 (effective March 6, 2024) and remain as follows:
Chartered Cities and First-Class Municipalities: P6,000.00 per month.
Other Municipalities: P5,000.00 per month.
Coverage and Exemptions
The new wage order covers all minimum wage earners in the private sector regardless of their position or status of employment. However, certain entities may apply for exemption, such as:
Retail or service establishments regularly employing not more than ten workers.
Enterprises affected by natural calamities or human-induced disasters.
Registered Barangay Micro Business Enterprises (BMBEs).
