Central Luzon Wage Hike: What You Need to Know

Great news for workers in Central Luzon! The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) has announced an increase in the daily and monthly minimum wages, set to take effect in two tranches. This adjustment aims to provide better financial support for employees across various sectors.



Daily Minimum Wage Increase in Central Luzon


The daily minimum wage increase applies to several provinces, including Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Zambales. The new rates will be implemented in two tranches: the first upon effectivity on October 30, 2025, and the second on April 16, 2026.


Here’s a breakdown of the changes:

  • Non-Agriculture Sector:

    • First Tranche (October 30, 2025): From ₱550 to ₱570

    • Second Tranche (April 16, 2026): From ₱570 to ₱600

  • Agriculture Sector:

    • First Tranche (October 30, 2025): From ₱520 to ₱540

    • Second Tranche (April 16, 2026): From ₱540 to ₱570

  • Retail/Service Sector:

    • First Tranche (October 30, 2025): From ₱540 to ₱560

    • Second Tranche (April 16, 2026): From ₱560 to ₱590


Meanwhile, the Province of Aurora will also see significant adjustments:

  • Non-Agriculture Sector:

    • First Tranche (October 30, 2025): From ₱500 to ₱530

    • Second Tranche (April 16, 2026): From ₱530 to ₱560

  • Agriculture Sector:

    • First Tranche (October 30, 2025): From ₱485 to ₱515

    • Second Tranche (April 16, 2026): From ₱515 to ₱545

  • Retail/Service Sector:

    • First Tranche (October 30, 2025): From ₱435 to ₱475

    • Second Tranche (April 16, 2026): From ₱475 to ₱515



Monthly Minimum Wage Increase for Domestic Workers


Domestic workers in Central Luzon will also receive a welcome increase in their monthly minimum wage. Effective October 30, 2025, the new rates are as follows:

  • Current Minimum Wage Rate: ₱6,000

  • Amount of Increase: ₱500

  • New Minimum Wage Rate: ₱6,500


This adjustment aims to improve the living conditions of domestic workers in the region.
