SSS Announces Calamity Loan Program for Members in Disaster-Hit Areas

The Social Security System (SSS) has launched its Calamity Loan Assistance Program (CLAP) to provide immediate financial relief to members impacted by recent natural disasters. The program covers members affected by the 6.9 magnitude earthquake in Cebu and those in areas hit by tropical cyclones Mirasol, Nando, and Opong.

Effective October 2, 2025, eligible members can borrow up to ₱20,000 with a lowered interest rate of 7% per annum. This initiative aims to offer timely support to help members and their families recover from the devastation caused by these calamities.
